Just a quick video showing the nasty process of getting into most tail lights. The important part of the cutting process, is doing so in a way that allows access to the internal bezels, but doesn't show from the outside. When finished, there should be no cut marks made visible when looking at the tails on the car. The reseal process involves either plastic welding, or a combination of hot knifing a few melted plastic "anchors" in various places around the light, then using silicone to fill the gap and create a seal for water and debris.

Yeah how do you reseal it?
Here is the thing i dont get about cutting. By cutting, you are cutting some of the plastic off, so when you try to glue it back together wont the plastic be smaller and wont just fall throught inside??

Hey what tool is that your using I've been looking everywhere can't find one!
so how do you seal them back together?
