This is a bulb cover from a nissan gtr tail light. Now this one has to stay in here a little bit longer, because i could still see paint on it. This one just had it enough to get that little membrane off. So this whole process takes about two months, and this is the only one that's ready to go so far.
The other ones need more time. Let me know if you have a better way to strip paint off of clear plastic.
Have you tried naked gun I deep clean my automotive spray guns with it and it doesn't harm the plastics internally but takes the paint off rather quickly
Do you have any videos on making custom diffusers? I have a 2016 Veloster and would really like to do something custom but just can't grasp how to create custom diffusing shapes that aren't already on the headlights. Thanks!
I can't believe it takes that long. Wow. That's most likely the best way.
Maybe try soaking it in brake fluid. Rc guys use it to strip the clear plastic bodies when they repaint them. Too much time might haze the plastic tho.
do you agitate the water with something? running fluid across surface may speed up the whatever reaction your creating.
So what is it soaking in?

Here in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we have a product called Sacató wich traduction is Take everything off or clean off everything💪🏾💪🏾. It may work for the purpose without damaging the plastic. For me is like the hot sauce comercial " I put that shit on everything" LOL 😂😂 Look for it on youtube, watch the videos and get your own conclutions. Sheers bro!!!✌🏾😎✌🏾
