I bought this sheet of diffusion film from exLED about 7 or 8 years ago. It like a super thin, almost paper thin, plastic sheet white in color that gives good diffusing properties. Same stuff they used to use on their tail lights. Glad I still have it, but also looking for alternatives since they dont have it for sale anymore.

Frosted spray paint and Privacy Window Film have different types of diffusion and some with an adhesive backing. I also will spray "Frost" on Acetate (cut to spec) and slide that over my finished light "module".

I've used spray on frost for glass tho its permanent. There's also a peelable black tint spray i used on the inside instead of outside of a red taillight lens

I would love a full video on blasting plastic. I recently did my taillights and I used the frosted glass spray on some parts. It turned out okay but a little uneven. Probably due to my lack of painting skills but it would be nice to be educated on the options

Home window UV plates you can get them from Loweโ€™s and Home Depot itโ€™s about a 6 x 10 plate you get about 15 for like three dollars and they come from clear to eggshell but all let light through.
