Heat Shrink and Solder are the foundation of Custom Automotive Lighting.
In this video, I'll cover making connections with
3:1 Marine Heat Shrink
2:1 Heat Shrink
Electric Tape
Here's the same 2mm Marine Heat Shrink I used in the video:

Someone needs to come out with a “clam shell” type of heat shrink.
Pro tip that i got from my college at Koenigsegg. If you need to get that heatshrink of, drag along (Do not cut it so you dont risk going through the cable isolation!) the heatshrink with a razorblade and heat it again, its going to bloom like a rose! Easy to then peel off!
Greetings from Sweden! 🙂
Bone heads lol 😂
What peice of equipment are you using to test the power after your solder? Like if you have a 5V and then another 12V – is there a multi voltage power tester set up?
What i do especially for thin gauge is to strip one side longer then twist and foldover to the longer stripped side so it folds on to the stripped wire then sodder the whole thing so there is less of a weak point then heat shrink
I put yellow LED bulbs in my 2008 Subaru Outback fog lights and it gave off a little bit of yellow and a blue ish hue so when you step back and look at the bulb its not straight yellow its almost like a disco ball lol idk if its because they are reflector style or if I’m better off with a yellow halogen bulbs.

He didn't even twist the wires together…

Solder doesn't conduct current as well as wires touching each other via twist first then solder all as one.
