How do you hook up your lights without it being hooked to the car. Always wanted to make my own for when I start on my lights
I feel your pain bro. My 04 Jaguar I've been moding cooked the engine valves on July 3rd, and I lost the key on the 4th at a family get together… Jaguar was gonna run a grand for the new key after towing it both directions… Luckily I've got a spare car and the keys turned up 3 weeks later. That key was gonna cost more than the engine parts!

They key safe thingy is neat and all, but what if you lose the key to that? lol

$1000 from the dealer is a huge huge rip off!!! A brand new OEM GT-R key fob and blade is about $135-$150 from OEM Nissan Parts Online Wholesalers. Programming can be done by any Auto Locksmith since the key internally is the exact same as any Nissan/Infiniti Smart Key. Now the blade is where it gets tricky. Since it’s just a normal dimple cut you just need to get the key code from Nissan and go to a more specialized/higher end locksmith that does dimple cutting. In my local area out of 70-80 lock smiths in about 50 miles area only one does dimple cut and they charge about $150 for dimple cutting! So still not cheap but a lot cheaper and faster than getting direct from Nissan Dealer!
