How To Customize your HEADLIGHTS. My 12 Tips to Open the lights with NO Damage.
You might want to customize your headlights, but you're afraid to melt them in the oven, or get leaks after you take them apart and put them back together.
I put 12 Tips together to help you safely open up a set of lights. I'll have another video soon showing how to take apart lights that are not sealed with Rubber Butyl, like the 2015 - 2018 Subaru WRX head lights are in this video. They will require tools and special techniques not shown in this basic video.
We'll continue this series using these lights to add Sequential LED Running Lights and Turn Signals, as well as XK Glow Color Changing Angel Eyes, and we'll show you each step as we install these products.
I heat these lights at 220 F
IF YOUR OVEN IS IN CELSIUS PLEASE DO THE MATH. 250 degrees C is 482 degrees F!!! Dudes in the UK keep melting their headlights into little puddles of plastic instead of converting to Fahrenheit, lol, which is terrible, but lacking common sense for sure. We just heat them up to soften the glue, not to get golden brown like a home made pie.

My Nissan Magnite headlight has screws that are simply inaccessible without breaking some glass or black plastic parts! My brain just cannot figure out how they could even manufacture that. screw heads completely covered by black plastics while at the same time holding the black plastics and the front glass together! Did they tighten the screw first and remold the black plastics or what..im clueless

If you use conventional oven do you set to 250 so it will drop to 225 or start at 225 so it drops to 200
