Looks like a pita
I can never got the grey adhesive out like that. It takes me absolutely ages. Could you do a video with commentary of how to go about exactly doing that. They way you did?
Thanks.
The headlights on the c are the only part of the car I like I hack a C5 I LOVE IT I don't like the way they shortened the c5 the nose is shorter and the rear is shorter I would have bought a c6 if they hadn't shortened them too much I don't like the c7 but an interested in the mid enguine car vette they are coming out with
to use an oven is the best result , I've tried both solutions
Has this master mechanic ever heard of a hairdryer or heat gun????
if you have a heat gun its easier…….blacked out my headlights today, just be very careful and patient
Oh never mind I'll just trade my car in for a C-7.
wow, I need a science degree just to change my damn vette car lights
LOL hahahahahahaha I thought the same thing, word for word.
so what do you need/use to put them back together? What sealant is used to get the same water seal as the factory seal?
hahahaha
whattemp do u suggest is the higest we should goi have 2 brand newwhite head lights trying to mod them
Are you really asking that?
doe this mess up your lens or can they be reused. id like to see a vid on how to put them back together
Stubborn bastards is right. Wish I would have sent mine to you guys. I broke a shitload of clips off, melted a few support posts for wraparound rubber and generally made a mess of it. Took me forever to get it back together halfass right with 5 oven cycles (clamping is almost impossible due to the rounded back side). SUCKED, SUCKED, SUCKED. I would NOT suggest anyone try this themselves. I cussed through the whole damn process. Whatever you guys charge it AIN'T enough!!!
