How To Reflash Sequential LED Modules for GTR Headlights - Did I waste almost $3000?
Developing new parts isn't easy, and in my case, its taken the past 2 years to get enough R&D, product testing, and tons of failure to get to the point where we can pull off crazy builds like this one:

In this video, find out if the money I put into the latest run of parts was a waste! Comment below what you think!

What leds are you using on the costume made pcb?
I think your $3,000 would have been better invested in a CNC Laser Cutter.
I live in SaiGon – home to 5, 600, 000 motorcycles in a country that has a total population of 97, 000, 000 motorcycles – about one motorcycle for each adult and child in the country.
Although my employer specialises in electronic military design, we have a great market in adding 'bling' to motorcycles.
One popular accessory are side light strips that run between the wheels and the strip that runs immediately under the seat and wraps around through the brake light assembly.
These long, slender parts are made of both stiff and flexible PCB material. They are laid out very close to each other but this is not a problem since we use a CNC Laser Cutter to separate the parts. Since the strips are longer than standard PCB material we simply solder the ends together using 'Solderwick' type mesh cable (to withstand the vibration).
To reduce the amount of wiring we use multiplexer technology between the light strips and the Controller.
Our Programmable Controllers were originally sourced in China – at a way lower price, we now make them in-house using a different MCU to the ones you use.
The car population is a fraction of that of the motorcycles and all we do in that market sector are brake displays and Knight Riders for the front.
Really love the result of these custom circuit boards. I would love to get a hold of something like this for my car.
For those of us who want that simple non programmable chip.
What is it called?
What I am actually looking for is an led strip that I can have run with parking lights (red), get brighter red with brake lights, do the sequential movement upon turn signals…
They make some for under the trunk but they have colors like amber for turn signals, etc.
I just need a module that I can attach my led strand to..
But I am new enough that I am trying to learn where to buy the parts. ( on a low budget… I cannt afford ghozt
Love your channel … keep up the excellent work… A lot of people appreciate the time and effort that you do put into these. I am one of those ppl. You definitely inspired me to think differently about my lighting. Kudos
Same i hate the tubes but love using the strips
I use them all the time behind frosted acrylic
Great look at what you ACTUALLY have to deal with when creating custom lighting. Its not an easy thing. I'm working on some items to get my business off the ground. I'm working on 3 wire sequential lighting and designing my own pcb's. It's not hard to do… Or expensive if you know where to look. But a lot of R&D is needed. I would love to have a chat and share my experience with creating PCBs without the sky high pricing your dealing with. Anyways, keep up the great content and I'm excited to see how Flyryde will grow in the future.
Great content and videos. I'm glad to see someone is showing the hardwork that goes into nice lights. Have you ever used the sequential boards off exledusa? I am building tail lights for a 3000gt and wanted to use the ghostz module but didn't want to program.
Great info bro! I build concept cars in 3D(Alias) and the lighting for the prototypes always ends up a real mystery. Watching your videos really helps me anticipate what the fabrication teams will do to produce the final effects. For example, check out the latest SF Motors concept cars(SF7) to see my work. Maybe I can include you on one my future builds 🙂 Rock on!
Looked like you were about to cry too. Had no idea how much goes into custom lighting.
