How to safely bake open your Nissan GTR MY17 Headlights at FlyRyde.
This is a totally different style of video, straight and to the point, all about teaching the steps. How you open your headlights will be determined by what tools you have access to. If you dont have a safe way to bake them (example: oven is too small), you can always use a heatgun. Here's a video showing how to do that on an RX8:

Hi Chris, great channel, I found you because I want to update the look of my Jaguar XFR headlights. I’ve been told I can’t open them using an oven, but watching your videos you always use an oven. Do you know of any reason why a Jaguar headlight couldn’t be done in this way or is this guy just not in the know?
What about Corvette…?
I managed to split mine, cleaned and resealed but moisture still gets in, is there a breather on these?
I have watched this vid a million times, it was mega helpful.
Whats the best method for the same headlight using the heat gun? Moisture has gotten into mine and there is water marks on the high beam bezel.
Awesome video dude! I'm so used to figuring stuff out for myself, so to find out there's someone who's already got the knowledge and willing to share it is fanatic!
I'm no newbie when it comes to nodding cars, or installing factory retrofits, but always willing to learn new techniques. So thanks, Chris, and keep up the amazing work (and videos!). 🤘🏻✌🏻👍🏻💣💥
Been looking into doing this kinda stuff on my own car (unfortunately not a GTR) but this type of vid is perfect for me to learn from, the more detail/info the better!
You forgot to say put your phone on silent and put do not disturb on your door because you definitely don't want interruptions while doing something as involved as that and then losing your train of thought and forgetting where you placed little clips and screws
I don't have a great but trying to learn i want to learn how to do headlights and taillights so I can modify my truck headlights and taillights currently halogen
hard to see anything and want a different look both front and back i have a 2000 ford excursion and 2002 ford f150
Doink! Tapped that Thumbs Up button, there! I don't own a GTR, and I have no plans of modding GTR headlights anytime soon, but I've done a few retrofits in the past, and I know all too well there is no such thing as extraneous information! Of course I watched it all the way through!
Awesome stuff, man!
Looking forward to seeing the Gen Coupe How To vid 😏
Are you gonna show how to reseal the headlights?
Very informative Chris. It's a lot easier when you can see the steps as well as reading. Keep up the good work man. 💯
Probably never going to work on a GTR but always interesting to watch someone at work 👍 are you going to go back to the ghozt programming at some point, been using it and have a few questions 😂
Love this series 🙌🏻 keep it up Chris 😎
