One of my favorite modifications for the Nissan GTR, is from our friends at Diode Dynamics. They made a plug and play module that installs direction between the tail light plug from the light, and the corresponding plug from the vehicle, which means in seconds you can switch back to stock anytime you'd like (But you never would).
The modules main focus, is changing the turn signal from the factory incandescent glass bulb, into the powerful Red LED Circles that the Skyline is famous for. How cool is that? Hit the turn signal, and you get flashing Red Circles instead of a little orange bulb.
The little bonus of eliminating the factory orange bulb, is that it opens up that section to add a secondary LED white Reverse light. By upgrading the stock reverse bulb with LED as well, the tails are then 100% LED, with crazy powerful reverse lights, as well as more noticeable turn signals.
This works on ALL GTRs 2009-2017 (at least the North American Spec). So with the 2015 style "Halo" tail lights, they'll work just as well. There's also no need to mess with a load resistor to keep the flashing at normal speed, because that's already built into the Diode Dynamics plug and play module.
